Amy
Alissa
Amy brings a compassionate and person-centred approach to support coordination. With a deep commitment to empowering participants, she ensures every choice is supported with genuine care and professional expertise.
Amy is 33 years old and has worked in the disability sector since 2012.
Growing up with a father living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Amy developed a deep understanding of disability, advocacy, and the importance of quality supports from a young age.
Amy holds a Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Mental Health, and a Diploma in Social Services.
She has extensive experience supporting participants with autism, psychosocial disabilities, trauma, SIL, ILO, SDA, and complex support needs.
Amy has also worked extensively in tribunal advocacy, legal advocacy, and supporting participants involved in the Australian gaol system.
Her strength lies in thinking outside the box, fighting for participant rights, and ensuring families receive the supports they genuinely deserve.
As a mother of three children, two of whom are autistic and NDIS participants, Amy understands the emotional and practical realities families face every day.
Amy created Your Choice Your Care because she wanted families to experience the same level of trust, care, and advocacy she would expect for her own family.
Alissa is dedicated to providing the knowledge and support needed to navigate the NDIS journey. Her expertise in disability support services ensures participants receive the tailored assistance they deserve.
Alissa is 42 years old and brings a strong background in business and logistics to Your Choice Your Care.
She is an incredibly patient, thoughtful, and compassionate Support Coordinator who ensures every participant receives personalised and responsive support.
As a mother of two children aged 17 and 8 who are both NDIS participants, Alissa also brings valuable lived experience and understanding to every family she supports.
Alissa plays a major role in administration, organisation, participant communication, and ongoing coordination within the business.
She is known for her calm approach, efficiency, and commitment to ensuring participant needs and urgencies are always prioritised.

Our story
Together, they combine decades of professional experience with firsthand understanding of the disability community.
Amy has worked in the disability sector since 2012, bringing extensive experience in mental health, autism, psychosocial disability, complex supports, tribunal advocacy, and navigating challenging systems. Growing up alongside her father, who lived with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), inspired a lifelong passion for advocacy and ensuring people have someone who will stand beside them when it matters most.
Alissa brings a wealth of experience in business, administration, and logistics, providing the organisation and consistency that families rely on. As a mother of two NDIS participants herself, she understands the importance of clear communication, dependable support, and making families feel heard every step of the way.
Together, their strengths complement one another—combining advocacy, compassion, lived experience, and professional knowledge to provide personalised support that is built around each participant's goals.

Your Choice Your Care was founded by sisters-in-law Amy and Alissa Gleeson with one shared purpose:
To create the kind of support coordination they would want for their own families.
As mothers of children who are NDIS participants, they know that navigating the NDIS can feel overwhelming. They understand that behind every plan is a person, a family, and a future filled with hopes, goals, and challenges.
That lived experience shapes everything they do.
While many providers focus on services, Amy and Alissa focus on people. They believe great support coordination begins with listening, building genuine relationships, and empowering participants to make informed choices that reflect their own lives and goals. .
